Which animal will Google unleash next. Can you guess?

A staff member here at Infinity Dental Web wrote a funny, yet interesting blog post a couple weeks ago featuring a flesh eating piranha fish. The blog post was about the latest Penguin update, and Google’s choice of “exotic pets that start with the letter P.” This led me to question why Google names their algorithm updates this way.
What I found out is the Panda update was actually named after one of Google’s engineers who worked on it. When Google rolled out their next update, they decided to stick with naming it after another cute animal beginning with the letter P. It was just a coincidence that both animals (Panda and Penguin) were black and white, but Matt Cutts did disclose that this could become their theme for future updates. Now Google has us guessing which animal will be chosen next. Will it be cute? Will it be black and white? Although not black and white, my guess is a possum.
More importantly, how will Google’s next update affect your business? Google algorithm updates shouldn’t throw people into a panic as long as they follow the rules and avoid Black Hat tactics. At Infinity Dental Web, our focus is on providing, high-quality custom content that delivers patients. In other words, we provide SEO safe websites that rank well and that do convert. With that said, Infinity Dental Web is ready and waiting for the next possum, platypus or porcupine update.
