Follow-up on eDoctorWeb review
Date: April 5, 2018Category: Author: David Hall
Last Thursday, Doug Gilliatt, our Director of Client Services, reviewed the website of eDoctorWeb, a competitor of ours, in which he acknowledged their compliment to our marketing prowess by copying key marketing messages from our company home page.
So today we pushed that out on Facebook and tagged them so that they got notice of our blog post. And a scant hour later, all that copied text is gone.
I kind of liked their home page the way it was before. It just doesn’t seem to convey the same level of marketing savvy any more.
But I am puzzled and a little troubled by one change in their website. We pointed out that the online review by one client of theirs, Dr. Brad Hylan, was extremely similar to a review we received from one of our clients, Jeannie Theriot of Theriot Family Dentistry, in which she said how much she trusted us. Dr. Hylan’s review is now changed, and that very similar “trust” part is now deleted. I hope for their sakes that he still trusts them.
