Video marketing continues to grow in popularity and importance.
We have all seen data about the impact of video. We know that the use of video increases the impact of any message. It increases the amount of time people spend on your website and increases conversions. In a survey by Wyzowl, 72% of businesses say video has improved their conversion rate.
But the most important effect of the use of video in marketing dentistry is its impact on trust. The marketing company Invodo reports that 52% of consumers say that watching product videos makes them more confident in online purchase decisions.* And if we could delve into the subconscious of these consumers, we would discover that this percentage would be much higher. People are often unwilling to admit, or they maybe don’t even realize, the impact of emotional factors in their purchase decisions.

One of the options we considered was helping you engage a local videographer and working with them. But there is so much low-quality video out there and we wanted strong quality control. Many videographers out there get paid for their work, but we wouldn’t call them truly professional. There are many pitfalls in this work, and we have seen low-quality video on many dentists’ websites. The wrong choice of lens can leave you with office walls that don’t look straight. The wrong lighting creates unattractive shadows, produces the wrong colors, and fails to have the right amount of contrast. Sound recording also needs to be handled professionally. If you are trying to brand yourself as a quality dentist who delivers attention to detail in your work, you don’t want video that says the opposite about you. We want you to have high quality video that conveys a feeling of excellence.
We are offering you our video production at just $2995/day plus travel expenses. Half-day options would also be available. This will put a professional film crew in your office to create as many videos as the time allows. We anticipate a strong return on investment for this amount.
Some ideas for videos you could schedule would be:
- an office tour
- patient testimonials
- meet the dentist
- the dentist explaining procedures, staff, and service
If you are interested, give us a call and we will work out with you a schedule of what you want to accomplish. We would determine how much time is needed and agree upon on the scope of work. For example, for one day we could maybe schedule about 5-6 patient testimonials and an introduction video of the practice.
We will grant you ownership of all videos.
We want to encourage our clients to use video on their websites. We believe that quality video will increase conversions. We will also be increasing the amount of video on our own website. We are re-designing our home page and including a video there. At the next AACD meeting we will be asking some of you if you would be willing to come by our booth and let us take a client testimonial video.
