Mobile Dental Websites And Social Media

Yesterday I went to a dental consultation appointment with a local dentist. In getting to know the dentists (there were two of them) I discovered that one of them graduated from the same high school as me and even graduated just one year after me. We played the name game for a little while and enjoyed talking about common acquaintances and what we knew about their accomplishments. In the course of that conversation the doctor brought up the fact that they were going to be making several dental devices (I think it was night-guards maybe?) for one of the sports teams for the high school we both attended. He also mentioned that they were working to get their Facebook fan page set up before the group comes in so that they can all “check in” when they come into the office so that they can leverage that for publicity. He said they were running into some issues with getting the check-in feature working, but he thought they finally got it all worked out now.
But what is a social media presence without a mobile website to match? They just go hand in hand. To leave one of them out is like having a peanut butter and jelly sandwich without the jelly. Surprisingly enough, I didn’t think to ask him if they were planning on eventually creating a mobile dental website. It must have been because I was so focused on my own personal dental needs.
So the question is not, “Can my dental practice afford to provide a mobile-optimized website?” but rather, “Can my dental practice afford to NOT provide a mobile-optimized website?” Infinity dental web makes that question easy to answer by providing a mobile experience at a very reasonable price. Our clients who have already chosen to have us create a mobile site for them are seeing great results and a high degree of mobile visitor engagement. For example, one client is already seeing up to 419 mobile visits after just two months of having their mobile site in place.
The world is going mobile. You can either cater to that trend or you can double down on your desktop site.
