Google has come out with a very cool new gadget called Google Glass. Imagine wearing a pair of glasses that allows you to livestream what you are doing, take a picture, get directions or even translate a language. The information is projected into your field of vision on the glass lens at which point you give a verbal command of what you want done with that information.
It is said to be compatible with both Android and Apple platforms. The Today Show had a very good and quick synopsis on exactly how this works as well. Imagine the possibilities that this technology can lead to. The idea is to get people away from looking down at their cell phones, keeping the eyes looking forward and hands free. Consumers can expect to pay $1500 for a pair when they first hit the market at the end of 2013.
