It seems odd that web design and marketing are generally not synonymous with exceptional photography. After all, a great website often hinges on quality photographs that create and reshape the composition and balance of the design. This may come as a surprise to some, but many of our clients are cosmetic dentists who are actually fine art photographers as well. Using this type of photography on a website can go a long way toward presenting the client’s work or product, showing that the creator has an artistic sentiment, and affecting the atmosphere of the design. Believe it or not, a great design can often lead to an equally impressive conversion rate. Emphasis on marketing and SEO does wonders, but what if you spend all the time and effort getting a website to climb the rankings on Google, and it looks like it was designed in 1997 in your mom’s basement?
Businesses can tend to focus on one aspect or another, some want a beautiful design that will show their visitors how amazing, high-tech, or professional their company is, while others simply want to be ranking number 1 on Google. Sure, the latter may work to an extent just because it’s easy to find, but if you’re a business that focuses on the aesthetic like dentistry, you’re going to want to show that with your online presence. After all, you can have all the visitors in the world, but if it doesn’t look professional, it’s just hard to take seriously. Your website is your identity, it’s your portfolio, and it’s your best tool for converting visitors into patients, customers, or clients.
