Social Media Specialist
Updated: 05/04/2016
Engaging social media is strategic and brilliantly executed.
We’re looking for several social media specialists to grow our client’s following, engage fans and convert to leads, customers and promoters.
You’ll be both wordsmith and graphic designer, turning heads and triggering mouse clicks. You’re the one who keeps our client’s campaigns clicking with results.
Who you are
- You’re pithy—alliteration, active sentences and appropriate punctuation make you tingle with excitement.
- You take an idea and turn it into a campaign of incredible images and one-liners.
- You’re skilled at micro- and macro-thinking—ensuring the big picture of the campaign is represented through tiny details.
- You recognize nobody is a “guru” or “expert” at social media—and that it’s important to always hone your craft. You read social media blogs. You attend social media seminars.
- You study social media analytics for what a target audience pins, re-tweets, hearts or likes.
- You don’t thrive on being micromanaged and love to be given the freedom to excel in your job.
- You believe that honesty, awareness, and ownership are direct routes to problem solving.
- You’re a solution-based thinker who investigates why a campaign fell flat, always looking to improve the creative process.
What you’ll be doing
- Providing daily hands-on management for all applicable social media outlets on behalf of your clients including, but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, Google+ and LinkedIn.
- Sparking discussions on various social networking sites and participating in minute-by-minute online conversations by answering questions, offering solutions and mediating conversations.
- Writing informative, creative, engaging and absolutely original client blog posts (we’ll supply some inspiration, but we expect you to come up with topics and content based on the client objectives and brand).
- Growing blog subscribers and expanding the overall blog’s reach.
- Optimizing content for search engines and lead generation.
- Ensuring proper online messaging and relevancy.
- Ensuring consistency of messages across multiple networks.
- Provide continuous monitoring and coverage of all client accounts.
What you need to bring to the table
- MUST have experience in WordPress, Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, Pinterest, Google+ and LinkedIn with a focus on engaging and growing followers with stellar content.
- Excellent writer with a knowledge of AP style.
- Experience with social media driven promotions and contests, as well as Facebook ads preferred.
- Graphic design experience.
- Candidates must be reliable and flexibility, with the ability to consistently meet deadlines.
This is a:
- Part-time (10-20 hours per month),
- Contract (1099) position.
You’ll work independently from your own home.
I’m looking to fill several positions immediately so please send your cover letter, resume, two writing samples (preferably blogs), links to social media accounts you’ve managed, and samples of design work to heather@infinitydentalweb.com.
