Dr. John Weaver came to us on referral from another client. He had recently purchased a 3-dentist practice in Lexington, Kentucky, and wanted to re-brand it with the name “Kentucky Dental Group” and make the website more attractive and user friendly. His focus was on basic general dentistry. At the time, the practice was getting about 25 new patients per month.
We told him that we weren’t sure we could take him as a client because we already had a client in Lexington. But, when we talked to that client, he said that because their target patients were so different, he had no objection to taking on Kentucky Dental Group.
Because of his target market, we recommended our lower-priced Custom Basic design with a moderately aggressive search engine optimization strategy.
By broadening the search terms, our strategic blogging to boost the SEO, and a design that accurately brands the practice, we were able to increase his new patient acquisition to 75 to 100 new patients per month.
In 2023, Dr. Weaver sold the practice to Dr. James Williams. Because of the record of success of the website, Dr. Williams stayed with us. He renamed the practice “Williams Family Dentistry.” While he has cut back to being a solo practice, the website continues to book 50 to 60 new patients a month. While some patients find him searching for specific procedures, the most common search terms are general, such as “dentist” and “dentist near me.”
