Dr. James Hastings is an accredited member and past president of the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry who is an active lecturer. While most dentists with those credentials would be in a large metropolitan area, Dr. Hastings practices in Placerville, a small city of 10,000 people that is the county seat of El Dorado County, California. So he presented some unique marketing challenges for us. While he is capable of doing beautiful smile makeovers, because of his market, his practice needs to focus on a wider spectrum of services.

He had modest marketing needs. Most of his new patients come by referral, but he wanted to put a good face on his practice with a quality website, and wanted to attract maybe five more new patients a month from the Internet. He wanted to be presented as a capable, thoughtful dentist who was capable of treating the most demanding cases with minimally invasive dentistry. He also wanted to increase his implant work. His target patients are over the age of 50, maybe retired, with discretionary income, who have a worn dentition or other serious needs.

We were able to achieve those goals for a very modest investment on his part. Because of the lack of stiff competition in his market, he only needed our lowest level of website design. The 400-500 unique visitors the website gets every month have proved to be adequate for his needs.
